There is a need to train excellent leaders to develop and promote inclusive dances. We think leaders of inclusive dance need various abilities, not to mention excellent dance skills. For example, they need to know about disabilities, or they should see the differences between all the members and, embracing such differences, create energetic and dynamic movements as a group. It is important for leaders to harness the creativity in everyone. Besides, they should grasp what is going on among participants in each workshop and to develop it instantly.

We provide a programme to learn these things generally.

Participants need to take lessons for two days in a row.
Tutored by Toshiaki Sadayuki.Sometimes we invite professional dancers who have produced remarkable inclusive dance performances as trainers, including Toru Iwashita.
We welcome those who want to organize some inclusive dance activities.

Enlightenment

We believe we should cooperate with other organizations that have the same aim in order to promote inclusive art more fully. There are some NPO groups that have done various activities in the field of art, such as music and paintings, which both disabled and non-disabled people create together. We have exchanged information, organized the symposium together, and held such workshops in various fields that participants can try and experience in one place. We will continue to do those activities.

The Collaborating Projects of Inclusive Art NPOs in Sendai

NPO groups that have tried inclusive activities in various fields, such as dance, music, paintings, etc. cooperate and plan some joint projects.

Setting Inclusive Art Day : we are planning symposiums or workshops everyone can try and experience.
Publishing a common brochure : we want to make a useful source of information about inclusive art. We will publish a common brochure about inclusive art.
Providing information through Internet : we will put information about workshops on the Internet.
